The same pieces, a different story with every look. That was the idea behind the Signature Halo Collection's appearance on the Flying Solo runway during New York Fashion Week in September 2026, at 22 Vanderbilt Rooftop in Manhattan. There, Evelina Lavrenova Fine Jewelry's modular necklaces and earrings were paired with looks by Bolivian designer Cristian Cáceres of EANIAN478 and Bahamian designer Apryl Jasmine.
It was the brand's first runway appearance in New York, a step Evelina had described in Forbes Bulgaria just two months earlier. For a brand built through a long-standing partnership with a family-owned fine jewelry atelier in Bulgaria, working in the trade since the 1990s, the moment became a natural expression of one of its core beliefs. Fine jewelry should adapt to the woman wearing it, not the other way around.

What is Flying Solo?
Flying Solo is a platform for independent designers, founded in New York in 2016, with concept stores in SoHo and Paris. Each season it presents a runway show during New York Fashion Week, selecting designers from international applications and pairing accessory brands with clothing designers, so each look is built from several labels.
That pairing is what made it the right stage for the Signature Halo. We didn't design the looks. We saw our jewelry through someone else's vision, which is exactly how our clients wear it.
Two designers, one collection
The Signature Halo was designed to change with the woman wearing it, with two ways to wear the earrings and three for the necklace. On the runway, that versatility came to life as the pieces were styled with two very different designers, taking on a new character with each look.
The collection comes in five color expressions, each with its own meaning:
- Lumière (clear): A diamond has no color of its own. It returns the light it's given, the foundation everything else is built on.
- Muse (pink): Every woman is her own source of inspiration, not someone else's.
- Heavenlee (blue): Like the sky, something above you, watching over you, close even when far away.
- Everly (green): Evergreen, the life that carries on through every season.
- Aurelia (yellow): From the Latin aurum, gold. Gold rendered in light, for moments worth celebrating.
EANIAN478
EANIAN478, founded in 2022 by Bolivian designer Cristian Cáceres, uses the runway as a form of artistic and social expression. Its looks are bold and visually commanding, often drawing attention through strong silhouettes and detail. The Signature Halo held its own, with the lab-grown diamonds appearing as points of light against the strength of the design rather than competing with it.
Apryl Jasmine
Apryl Jasmine, the Nassau based label of Bahamian designer Apryl Burrows, is known for vibrant, artisanal womenswear inspired by island life. Her looks played with color, shape and proportion, and the Halo followed their lead. The result felt energetic, playful and slightly unexpected, showing how fine jewelry can move naturally beyond traditional formal styling.

Behind the scenes
Every piece that walked in New York began at our atelier in Bulgaria, finished by hand before making the journey to the Flying Solo runway. Backstage, the pieces were matched to their looks and placed on the models minutes before the show, ready to be seen in a new light.
"Seeing the collection on the runway, styled in ways I had never imagined, reminded me why I made it modular. The jewelry doesn't have one right way to be worn. It belongs to whoever is wearing it."
— Evelina Lavrenova, founder and designer
